CROWING ROOSTER WHIRLIGIG…RESERVED FOR LISA

The rooster is 16.5” tall. He is 20” long. His tail is 20” wide. The base that the bird stands on is 8” x 7”. The bottom base is 8.5” x 8”. The rudder is 9.75”. 

The rooster is made of wood, resin, steel, copper, brass, stainless steel hardware, including gears. He has realistic plastic eyes. He was painted with acrylic paints and coated with a protective sealer (Hydrote Polyshield Exterior) that allows him to withstand the elements of the weather.  

Installation Instructions…Remove blue tape from tail bolt. Attach 3 washers on  the tail bolt. Attach  the tail rudder to the rooster per my instructions in the Etsy message. The bottom base can be attached to a rail or any location where it can be secured. There are 2 pilot holes on 2 sides of the base  and 4 exterior screws are provided.There are 4 holes in the base that the rooster stands on. Line up the 4 predrilled holes of the base that the rooster stands on and the top of the main base with rudder. Insert bolts (provided) with the head of the bolt on the top base. Tighten nuts (provided) to secure rooster to the main base.  .Once the rooster is attached to the top of the main base, mount the rooster by inserting top tube into the bottom tube. 

* Only rotate the rooster mechanism by turning the tail. Do not attempt to move the mechanism by pushing on the head.

** Upon receiving the whirligig, please inspect all parts closely. If anything is broken, please retain box and all packing materials. In order to file a claim these items are necessary… Please notify me immediately and I will tell you next steps to assist in making a claim.
