Mothman Whirligig (Body 13-14 “)
The whirligig's body is cut from 2” wood. The wings are cut from finnish birch, painted with exterior acrylic paint, and sealed with Polyshield Hydrocote...a weather resistant protectant. I use brass hardware (screws, washers, bearing, propeller and pivot tubes). High quality products are used to make my whirligigs more durable. An 5 inch stainless steel nail is included for mounting.
When you purchase a whirligig, you WILL NOT receive a whirligig post/stake. You will receive a 5" nail and mounting instructions ONLY. If you wish to purchase a ready-made whirligig post, there are several variations of posts for sale in my shop.
Some assembly is required. Wings are not attached during shipping. Instructions will be included for attaching the wings.
Please note that each whirligig is slightly different-handcut and handpainted, with some variations in color shades and details. A separate photo is not taken for each listing.
