The whirligig's body is cut from 3/4" pine. The wings are cut from finnish birch, painted with exterior acrylic paint, and sealed with Polyshield Hydrocote...a weather resistant protectant. I use brass hardware (screws, washers, bearing, propeller and pivot tubes). High quality products are used to make my whirligigs more durable.
****A 12 inch brass rod is included for mounting.
Please note that each whirligig is slightly different-handcut, and handpainted, with some variations in color shades and details. A separate photo is not taken for each listing.
