Whirligig measures 21" long...blade/hub measures 14" in diameter
The Chicken Feed whirligig has a hub with 4 blades. The wind turns the blades and the chicken moves up and down toward the bird seed.
Some assembly is required...Instructions for attaching the 4-blade hub is included.

All of my whirligigs' bodies are cut from pine and wings from Finnish birch, painted with exterior acrylic paint, and sealed with Polyshield Hydrocote... a weather resistant protectant. I use brass hardware (screws, washers, bearing, propeller and pivot tubes). High quality products are used to make my whirligigs more durable. A 5-1/2 inch stainless steel nail and instructions for mounting are included.
**When you purchase a whirligig, you WILL NOT receive a whirligig post/stake. You will receive a 5" nail and mounting instructions ONLY. If you wish to purchase a ready-made whirligig post, there are several variations of posts for sale in my shop.
